Skits are used in a variety of settings. During Camporee, Rally Day or at Day Camp, girls perform skits during campfire time as entertainment. During a meeting, a skit can be used to role play a lesson as preparation for an activity, e.g. selling girl scout cookies or conflict resolution. It's always good to have some skit topics for whatever occasion. Keep in mind who the audience will be when planning the skit. Practice using loud voices so that everyone will be able to hear. Use your imagination. Here are some ideas:

  • A group of scouts are lost in the forest. What do they do?
  • Two suckers on a stick - girls go to a candy store and ask for something unusual.
  • Aliens from space arrive. How can you help them?
  • Game show situation.
  • Late night host show with several guests.
  • Teacher (or scout leader) with a group of students.
  • A coach with her team before a big game.
  • Girl Scout sleepover.
  • A party.
  • Someone who left their homework to the last minute and needs help.
  • Girl Scouts on a hike.
